I'm in Barnes and Noble the other day- killing time until I have to do some boring chore or appointment or whatever it is I do all day- God only Knows. Also I'm a book junkie- I get actual physical pleasure from seeing all the new books everywhere in their shiny new wrappings.I'm perusing, I'm perusing...Oh baby animals- always up for some good baby animal pictures. I think it connects with the mommy nerve. It's the only thing I can think of...this is also my Ahhhhh nerve. This is the nerve that causes me to go all mushy when I hold babies and think ohhh I want one. Thank God I had that taken care of a long time ago or else I'd be in serious trouble.
So I pick up this book-flip to the first page and die laughing. I laughed so hard tears were streaming. I scared old people- that's how hard I laughed. I finally managed to get a hold of myself and then I flipped to the next page...Wow.
I think I'm buying this sucker for every person on my Christmas List...This or their newest book, Why Is Daddy in a Dress?: Asking Awkward Questions with Baby Animals. Amanda McCall has a book herself...Hold My Gold: A White Girl's Guide to the Hip-Hop World- I think I'm going to pick this up the next time I'm out, just to be able to say I've read it.
